Mississippi Media is currently seeking a full time Promotions
Director: Duties include: -Managing and executing station
promotions for all six of our radio stations in the Gulfport/Biloxi
market. -Organizing and developing events and contesting,
both on-air and online. -Working closely with programming
and sales to maximize both the ratings and revenue.
Organizing live remote broadcast at area businesses,
to help create awareness of both the business and the
radio station. Working with concert promoters to organize
on-air ticket giveaways and on site promotions.
-Development of Public Service and community partnerships.
-Basic web/html/databasing knowledge. This job requires
multitasking and organizational skills, strong work ethic,
communication, creativity and presentation skills.
Marketing/Promotions/Event planning background is a

Mississippi Media is looking for some part-time
promotion assistants to work events for our
group of radio stations (WCPR, HANK-FM,
WTNI-AM, WXBD-AM, WHGO and WXYK
(107-1 The Monkey)!
We are seeking applicants who are outgoing,
and enjoy working with listeners and live the
lifestyle that represents each of our stations.
The position involves setup and breakdown
of events, as well as assisting the promotion
department.
Applicants must be able to work weekends and
occasional weeknights. Have reliable
transportation and be "local".
