We're headed into the Memorial Day weekend, and I want to send an extra message to all of our FABULOUS listeners. Please be safe on the roads. Watch out for others, and please do your best to avoid trouble so that the weekend goes well. For all you rock and rollers who'll be at the BLOWOUT, have a great time, but be safe.  I know, I'm Mother Henning you, but I care, and want this to be a happy holiday weekend for us all.  The annual "SOUNDS BY THE SEA" performance by the Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra is being held twice this holiday weekend, and it's a free event for the whole family.  Saturday night at Jones Park at 6:30pm and Sunday night at Pascagoula's Beach Park at 7pm. Fireworks display after the performance, and you are welcome to bring chairs and snacks and enjoy the sounds by the sea.  It's a great event! Get out and enjoy if you have the chance.  Have a great Holiday!

Just saying Hi and I want to let you know about an event tonight and next Friday at a great little place in Vancleave. A faithful listener that works at Keesler is in business with her hubby and they have a great place called Billiards-N-Bistro, 11996 Highway 57 (North if I-10). 2 Benefit pool tournaments going on for Sheila Hayes, who has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia.  May 9 and May 16 come out and play!  Entry is $10.00, and there will be some great prizes for the tournament!  I'm going to try and make it out one of the nights, and I hope everyone who can, will join us!  Have a great weekend!  ~ Patty

Hello to all our loyal fans and listeners!  First I want to thank you all for listening, and for the awesome support through e-mail and phone calls during my show! YOU PEOPLE ROCK!  This past weekend was awesome- SKYNYRD was in town, and one of my dear friends (Ean Evans- Bass player 4 SKYNYRD), and I had the chance to have some fabulous conversation.  I heard some inside news that I am going to share with you. SKYNYRD is in the studio (they started yesterday) in Nashville working on new material.  I'll keep you posted.  For SKYNYRD fans, I saw a new "collectible" at Wal Mart last night in the Music section.  They're tins that have  3 Classic CD's full of material for around $16 you might want to pick up. My favorite was the CCR collection, which I'll have to pick up next time.  My daughter ran me dry by picking out too many DVD's she wanted.  Yall have a great week, and keep listening!  (((HUGS)))
